Helicon Focus 7 verfügbar

heute gesehen.... Bei der Installation musste ich Bitdefender Zugriff auf "geschützten Ordner" erlauben. Sonst war die Installation problemlos. Da ich die "Pro Livetime" Version habe, war das Update kostenfrei.

New feature: Folder Monitor

New feature: Manual focus detection area adjustment (can be enabled in Preferences -> Autoadjustments): shows a blue rectangle of selection area and allows you to adjust the area of alignment of frames in the stack

New feature: Crop result image automatically (Preferences -> Autoadjustments): lets you auto-crop all images in the stack, e. g. when there are artifacts on the edge of the image, or when there's an are that lacks focus data. Cropping the image properly helps avoid focus stacking artifacts induced by such useless areas

User interface somewhat reworked, the list of rendering results moved to the bottom of the window. The minimum allowed height of the main window has been reduced, it can now fit the screen on some laptops where previously the window was too large for the screen

Method B reworked, it now produces good image in some of the difficult cases that previously resulted in artifacts

Performance improved, especially on multi-core systems

Memory consumption optimized, it is now bound to a certain fraction of system's total memory (configurable in Preferences -> Performance). Within that limit, Helicon Focus will use as much memory as possible to avoid re-computing things, and, ultimately, to speed up rendering

Disk cache optimized to avoid situations when all the free space is used up by Helicon Focus

Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements

Danke für den Hinweis. Habe runtergeladen und installiert. Wenn man den Aktivierungscode (bei mir Pro) von der 6er Version hat, kann laut Traumflieger-Video auch für 7er Version weiterhin verwendet werden.

Der Aktivierungscode wurde von meiner 6er Pro Version automatisch übernommen.

Hat bei mir auch geklappt, obwohl auf der Heliconseite für ein Update von 6 auf 7 ein -zwar reduzierter- Preis angegeben ist.

Ich habe da noch Fragen zu Helicon Focus:

Die Pro-Version beinhaltet ja Remote, das nur für Canon und Nikon gedacht ist und für unsere E-M1 Mark II (u.a.) demnach überflüssig ist. Kann die Pro-Version etwas Wichtiges, das die Lite-Version nicht kann? Denn fast den doppelten Preis für etwas bezahlen, das ich sowieso nicht brauche und auch nicht nutzen kann. Welche Version benutzt Ihr denn und warum?

Hallo Bernd,

würde mich gerne mit einer Frage anschließen...

Kannst Du mir sagen ich welchen Formaten ich das "gestackte" Bild bei der Lite Version speichern kann?

Lade die Bilder im RAW Format ein, "stacke" die Bilder und dann? Welche Ausgabeformate gibt es in der Lite Version?
