Der Kamp durchschneidet weite Teile des Waldviertels und seine Umgebung war von jeher schon ein altes Siedlungsgebiet. In den Seen der Speicherkraftwerke verschwanden ganze Ortschaften. Am Oberlauf beim Stift Zwettl habe ich dieses Bild eingefangen.
